”Overall a Nice hotel: our room with two queen sized beds was big. The shower facility was small and water stream from the shower head was lousy.
Nice photo gallery (2nd floor) and fireplace in lobby. Gift shop well equipped but pricy.”

”This was one of the cleanest, nicest hotels in a small town that I have ever stayed in. I travel to Texas frequently and this will be my stop every time. The staff was amazing, hotel impeccably clean and the breakfast was not like any ordinary complimentary breakfast. All the normal eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes PLUS tortillas, salsa, cheese, red and green chili to make a breakfast tacos. Biscuits and gravy and more!”

”This historic Fred Harvey property was clean and attractive. It was renovated and reopened in 2019. Staff was welcoming, friendly, and anticipated and fulfilled our every need. We’ve stayed here several times in the past and will stay here again, highly recommend. ”

”GREAT historic hotel. Restoration A+. Character around every corner. Staff was very good. Only complete was restaurant closed for breakfast on Monday, although found a good local place about a block away. Only regret is we didn’t have time for another night, otherwise would have spent more time taking in the history. Would stay again on a flash. ”

”This place is absolutely fabulous!!!!!! We had dinner at Doc Martins. I highly recommend the fish and chips. My daughter had steak ….fantastic! The bar was cool too - Happy Hour. Had a great margarita. The staff was great. I asked for a mini fridge and it was there when we checked in! Didn’t have to remind them. The location is perfect!! In the heart of town. The only problem…a/c wasn’t turned on yet. But it was too hot for me. Fortunately they keep a fan in all the rooms - it made it...

”In a past life, career, I stayed at La Quintas all the time, had all my team members stay there, my of my has the quality behind the desk to place itself. After being on the road for almost 7 hours with my daughters ages 4 and 6, all we wanted was a quick check-in, polite staff and a nice bed and breakfast.
