”Such a beautiful and welcoming hotel! Slightly out of town in a quieter, greener location. We loved returning there after a long day of traveling to dip in the pool or sit in one of the lovely outdoor areas. You will need to factor in taxi fare (7000 each way) and a little extra time to get the taxi to and from town (about a 10 minute trip). But for us it was well worth it. Highly recommend!!”

”Our 5 night stay at Solar Madriaga exceeded expectations. The staff was courteous and accommodating, including housekeeping, who did our laundry twice and the contracted transfer driver, Ruben. Communication via What's App prior to our visit was responsive, welcoming, and informative and helped with Spanish to English translation. The food at Aloe was fresh and delicious, and the drinks were both beautiful and of the highest quality. Both wait staff and bar tenders were great. Favorites...
