”Easy to book and clean stay”

”Banquet hall was across from our room. Was told it would quiet down about 930-1000. At 11pm it got quieter and then the loud cackling start in the bar directly below our room and continued past 230 am. We were traveling and I had the worst nights sleep. The restaurant was closed due to the holy Catholic school fundraiser booking it out. They just didn't book out all the rooms and I was tormented. I went to the hall numerous times and it was quiet, but our room echoed with the loud drunks. I...

”This was all-around positive experience, starting from the superb lady at the reception. She was so friendly and took the time to tell me about the city and things that were happening around. Room itself was really nice and while it was modern, it had the authentic vintage feel to it. Would stay again!”

”The room was clean. The property is old. They’ve tried to keep it up, but it’s not great. The area was sketchy. I felt uneasy with my car parked in the lot. The mattress was not great, and the pillows were lumpy.”

”This was a great place to land for the evening while on a road trip. There is a train and well traveled road out front, but a white noice machine was provided as well as ear plugs. We slept great and found the environment very peaceful. It is conveniently located to grocery/convenience stores but tucked back away from the main road of town, which was nice. It was noticeably clean and had thoughtful amenities. Would stay again! ”

”An old hotel in the center of town. A perfect place to stay while I was in the area. Definitely a cut above a motel. I loved the old elevator, my room had a full size stove/oven and a full size refrigerator. All in all, I will stay here again…”

The main attraction was the farm to table breakfast advertised on the website and reviewed. Unfortunately this was not available. It was a typical continental breakfast not worth the extra drive. Would I stay here again if I wanted this area? Yes. Would I stay here with the additional 30 minutes I had to drive? No. Not...
