”I booked this place for the weekend since we were planning on hiking around Starved Rock and Matthiessen Park. The place is overall nice and affordable. The staff was nice. The property was clean. Our room was good. There was a few tears in the furniture but otherwise it was clean! Also, most importantly the bathroom was very clean. It was also close to a lot of food places and a cvs. It’s a good location and it was close to the state parks.”

”Hotel was built in 90's and it has an antique look. Antiques was bought from Sultan of Morocco. You can see few antique furniture's in and around the property. Staff's were really nice and the hotel is pet friendly. The property has a well-lit parking lot. There are few family-owned restaurants at a walkable distance (Italian, Mexican). Loves Park is across the river if you want to take your pet for a walk or relax. It is very quiet and away from all the traffic. If you do not mind antique look...

”Room was comfortable and had everything I needed. Checking easy. Rate was good. Best value in a stay I've had in a long time. Recommend if you are traveling; not a place to stay for the "Resort feel".”

”Very convenient location with a nice water park! Facility had a restaurant onsite that was nice. Morning continental breakfast terrible, but they’re rarely good at any hotel. Parking lot was right next to hotel with lots of space. Hotel was a little outdated, but still very clean.”
