”The Yearling will always have a very special place in my heart. It is old Florida charm at its finest. The cabins are not 5-star accommodations, but rather exactly what you would expect to find located on Cross Creek between Lake Orange and Lake Lochloosa. They are clean, comfortable and offer an excellent view of the creek. The neighborhood peacocks call to each other while birds and other wildlife occasionally travel by. My husband and I have stayed three times so far and would love to go back...

”The property is beautiful and right on the water. There was a grill and hang out spot under the house to keep us dry when it rained and a fire pit out back for when it wasn’t. Super close to several gas stations and a dollar store. In between numerous springs, we chose Ginnie Springs. We love having our own spaces still when we vacation so having a whole house was awesome! The owner was very helpful and easy to contact throughout our entire stay. We had a great time and will be back!”

”We have stayed with them before and loved it so much that we wanted to come back again. It was even better than we remembered and we can't wait to come back a third time. Very clean and love the fenced yard. Our dog Sammy had a good time chasing lizards! Ate breakfast out in the screened in porch every morning and it was so fun to listen to all the different types of birds and all the different woodpeckers too. Thanks for a relaxing time!”

”Our stay at the cabin was amazing! We especially loved the neighborhood parks in the area. Hodor Park was beautiful, peaceful, and never crowded — it felt like our own private retreat. We also had a great time at Ginnie Springs, which was perfect for some family fun with the kids. Another highlight was visiting O’Leno State Park, where we got to see the suspension bridge — such a cool experience! The whole area is quiet and relaxing, which made our trip even more enjoyable. ”Everything was as depicted in ad. Diane was an excellent host. Great communication and ease of check-in were appreciated. Everything about the cabin made for an enjoyable and relaxing weekend in the woods. Close to numerous parks, and lakes. The cabin was well equipped with everything to make the stay easy. Diane was super responsive to requests, and respectful of our privacy. The dog enjoyed the fenced in yard, and freedom to run. We will be back.”
