”My husband and I wanted to get a long weekend away in the Red River Gorge area. We were celebrating our anniversary and looking for somewhere peaceful and cozy to stay. This place was as great as it could get. Amanda is a wonderful host and there was plenty of attention to detail put into the container homes. ”The cabin is exactly like its pictured, clean and comfortable, directions were easy to follow. Amazing internet. Beautiful views. I would recommend just a few things for future guests. ”Awesome new property, nicely furnished and well supplied. Secluded location, yet neighbors are within earshot if necessary. As remote as it is, it’s hard to believe there is city water and power plus internet service; you’re even in cellular range. Unique design with a great upstairs loft/living area as the master bedroom, 16 steps up. Modest size downstairs (only) bath. Please believe the host when he tells you a 4WD vehicle is needed to reach the property! Can’t imagine a rear wheel drive...

”Very charming cabin and decorated authentically. We were very comfortable and also treated to an afternoon snack upon arrival as well as tasty breakfast items for each day. We enjoyed a walk down the road by the stream, but unable to canoe in the lake. Our host and hostess were very nice and friendly and very accommodating. Delightful experience. We enjoyed a visit to Bernheim Forest and rode the Bluegrass rail bike in Versailles.”
