”The cabin is wonderful! Very comfortable. The owners were kind enough to give us a late check out to accommodate a funeral we needed to attend. The outdoor space is wonderful as well and we were able to use the hot tub while visiting.”

”Stay was great. I only gave 4 out of 5 on Cleanliness because we had a cricket visit us inside the house. It could have come in when we came through the door. Location is great in relation to local attractions. FYI the road up to the house is steep! ”

”Overall a very enjoyable stay. There were some very minor cleanliness issues (animal fur (expected with it being pet friendly) on couch and people hair on floor). But overall very nice and the owners are very easy to communicate with if needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area. ”

”Overall impression was very good. It is a small quaint cabin for two. Relaxing atmosphere. Just a couple comments for those that have issues with stairs. The bedroom was in the loft (King Size Bed). Stairs are quite steep so elderly people that may have issues with stairs will need to consider. We don't have issues with it, but some may. The shower needs to be fixed. It was just a steady stream of water...like a water hose and not easy to take a shower in. Not sure how this wasn't fixed before...

”What an amazing property! It is an ideal set up for 2 couples. We went by ourselves this trip and had all the amenities you could possibly want. Midway downtown is so close we visited many of the shops and restaurants! Love this little town so friendly! And the interstate is close to get on and venture to Bourbon Tours, little surrounding towns and so many fun horse attractions. Thank you for opening your home to us! We can’t wait to return!!!”

”Looks are deceiving and the pictures do not do this location justice! This cabin is absolutely amazing! We spent the first two hours marveling at all the intricacies inside! There are many old books to look at and glance at. The showers in the room made it easy around bedtime while we were tending to 3 children on our trip. A playpen was provided for us and was set up when we arrived. I ran into a neighbor as well who was very friendly. I would highly recommend and would definitely come back to...

”Very charming cabin and decorated authentically. We were very comfortable and also treated to an afternoon snack upon arrival as well as tasty breakfast items for each day. We enjoyed a walk down the road by the stream, but unable to canoe in the lake. Our host and hostess were very nice and friendly and very accommodating. Delightful experience. We enjoyed a visit to Bernheim Forest and rode the Bluegrass rail bike in Versailles.”
