”The Ace Hotel is in a great location, on a quieter street yet with many restaurants and shops and museums walking distance away, including the busy Nishiki Market. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff were very polite, helpful, attentive and welcoming!! There is a Stumptown Cafe on the ground floor which we used every morning for coffee and pastry. (There was coffee in he room as well) We did not try the restaurants in the hotel, since they were not typically Japanese and we dined in...

”The semi sweet is a huge room!!! Staff goes above and beyond. The imperial palace is across the street, and the trains and buses are within a 6 minute walk. Make sure to bring a goshuin book with the amount of shrines. Only thing they don’t have is a washer and dry on property. But if you ask the front desk they can recommend one within a 10 min. Highly recommend. ”
