”We stayed twice at the Yura Hotel while travelling in Japan. In our opinion there is nothing that compares with the level of hospitality, quality of service and the accommodation itself. Upon arrival we were greeted with extremely friendly staff that went all the way to make sure we felt welcomed. From the registration onwards the entire stay was made as easy as possible. While the staff may not be fluent in English, their hospitality and effort makes up for the potential lack in vocabulary....

”朝食付きのプランで予約しているにも関わらず、朝食場所(迷う位このホテルは広く、食事をとれる場所も豊富)や時間(何時から開始で、ラストオーダーは何時か)の案内は一切ない。 また、滞在中にイタリアンのレストランを２度利用したが、２度とも席に着席後5分程放置され、スタッフに依頼しないとメニューを渡してもらえない。席に案内したスタッフが同時にメニューを置いていけばよいと思うが、そんな些細なオペレーションもオープン後5年経過しているにも関わらず気がつけていない様子。 スタッフは皆笑顔で雰囲気はとてもいいが、気が利くようで気が利かないのがこのホテルの特徴。ホテルのハード面は最高だが、ソフト面に課題があり、それを体験するのがこのホテルの醍醐味。”

”Suuremmoinen sijainti!! Tilava huone. Riisutut palvelut (ei teetä/kahvia huoneessa, eikä muuallakaan saatavilla). Japanilainen ravintola, myös aamiainen japanilaistyylinen ( 3 vaihtoehtoa). Länsimainen aamiainen niin ikään japanilaistyylinen sipulikeittoineen ja porsaanleikkeleineen).”

”大浴場があり深夜も入れるのがよい。朝食は和食で刺身もあり満足だった。”

”The hotel was in a very convenient place right next to Teramachi Street. Bus from Kyoto station stops right in front of the hotel. A lot of food places nearby. Sound echoes in the hotel a bit so you can hear e.g. the hallway sounds easily.”

”Clean, well-organized, great location, right by the train station, 7-eleven and Family Mart near by. Walkable to Gion area.”
