”We received a warm and friendly greeting from property owner, Jim. Nice surroundings (working farm). We were there for the wonders of northern Michigan and Ely House is right in the middle of it all.”

”We absolutely loved the space! Great for big groups/multiple families/kids. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed use of the fire pit, the bbq grill and walking the property/mushroom hunting. Check-in was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.”

”Very Nice Hotel. Sadly they put us in a handicapped room and the hand held shower nozzle did not get much pressure. We told the staff about it on day 1 of 2 and they said they fixed it while we were gone sightseeing, but when we got back it still did not perform correctly. We ended up showering at the local YMCA om day 2. Frustrating. Room service free Breakfast each morning was nice.”

”We’ve stayed here before and enjoy the view of the bay. Staff is always friendly. There’s a bit too much fragrant scent in the lobby & hall way. The room furniture is getting old & looking tired but the room is very clean and beds were comfy (very important). And having a room facing the water is so great! ”
