”Our stay was great! The view is amazing and I loved that all of the rooms face the water. The room was so comfortable, and its in a great location. The only thing I rated less than 5 stars was the upkeep of the property itself, it could have used some landscaping/weed treatment and the bugs were so bad outside our room/on the property. Overall, it was great and we would definitely return!”

”The atmosphere was great and seating outside was beautiful. Was disappointed with the food, though. I had Mediterranean pasta and the seafood was not cooked properly. The squid and octopus were very chewy. The pasta sauce did not have a good flavor. My husbands pork chop was under seasoned. Service was good but not great.”

”My husband and I spent the weekend here, and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and such a refreshing escape from the city. We enjoyed watching the birds, but the highlight for me was seeing the baby deer roaming around. It was magical. At night, the stars were breathtaking, and the quiet made it even more special. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Sam, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Truly a perfect stay. We can’t wait to...

It’s a unit below another living space, so a little bit noisy from that, but overall had everything we needed and was a great spot for us! We needed to be close to the horse show grounds but also close enough to get to town easily. Checked all the boxes!”

”The Sanctuary is a magical place carved into nature where for a short time the weary traveler can rest their body and their soul. The deer, beavers, swans and cranes were excellent hosts. The cabin is spacious, comfortable and well furnished. The human hosts are also gracious and welcoming. I've stayed there twice and hope to return again. ”
