”Not often in life do you get to stay in a property of this quality in such a special location. The weather was almost perfect and we enjoyed two super weeks exploring Arco Da Calheta and Madeira. The pool and pool area at Casa Das Flores are amazing, we used the pool every day. The villa has everything you need come rain or shine. Access to walks and shops/bars from the door also a bonus. Our only critique was the noise from locals who appeared to be racing their cars at night near the property....

Wir hatten eine super Zeit hier und haben das Haus, den hübschen Garten, die Lage mit der wahnsinnig tollen Aussicht sehr genossen. Wie schon beschrieben, erfolgt die Schlüsselübergabe kontaktlos und ohne Probleme. Man darf allerdings nicht bange vor steilen Straßen sein. Dies gilt natürlich auch für die gesamte Insel. ”I stayed here with two buddies, with the plan to do a bunch of hiking and have a cozy, spacious place to come back to every day, and this fit the bill perfectly. We loved the neighborhood, the view is incredible, the walk down to the city center is easy, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Funchal!”

”Although a bright and pleasant house, it is showing signs of a lack of maintenance, with numerous marks on the walls, several lights that don't work (along with the clock and the safe), doors which constantly rattle with air movement, handrails with peeling paint that comes off on your hands and clothing, and a front door lock which doesn't latch. The location is good, with great sea views, and even though the airport is so close you can see down onto the runway, the noise is not excessive....

”We had a fantastic stay with Maria. The rustic property was in a cute, quiet, and private location with an amazing view of the ocean. Easy parking was available below the church, which was a 5-minute walk away from the property. The garden and view were highlights of the property that we will always remember. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place to anyone wanting to visit Madeira.”

”The location is great, on walking distance from the harbour and main restaurant/shopping streets in Funchal. The house and its garden are absolutely wonderful, very calm, providing both sun and shade. The garden is very well-kept and we all enjoyed the terrace and pool area. ”Will be a good place when it will be finished. We were living in a construction site where noise was starting at 8am (or earlier) to finish at 8pm. The apartment was nice but not fully functional since AC was not connected. The apartment we had was made for 2 people as the sofa cannot be seriously considered as an extra bed (even for kids). The owner is always there to help.”

”Our group of 14 thoroughly enjoyed our 7-day stay at the Cliffside Villa. The house is located on a quiet cul de sac just outside of the precious town of Ponto Do Sol. The house is spacious and easily accommodates a large group. The view of the sea from the pool and balconies is incredible. Communication with Carlos/Caty was quick and easy. ”What an awesome stay! The place is nestled in the mountains a few km above Sao Vicente. You’ll need wheels! It is a typical village surrounded by locals - not a tourist in site. The perfect getaway! The property itself was great. Obviously lived in, so you’re in somebody’s actual house rather than a faceless rental. Everything you need is there to cook, clean and sleep soundly. ”Posizione buona se si è al nord... Casetta vista mare che è la cosa più bella... Nelle vicinanze ci sono ristoranti bar e supermercato, in cui vengono anche le persone dei paesi vicini. La host super gentile e disponibile 👍 Pulizia nella media, qualche asciugamano in più e carta igienica in più sarebbe meglio. Peccato che non c'è un terrazzino negli appartamenti 2-3.. L'interno potrebbe essere mantenuto meglio, la tinta dai muri che si scrostava probabilmente per sale e muffa.. Preparatevi a...
