”Nice place great fun and I won”

”This place is now a hell hole. They only have 3 blackjack tables now and they close those at 2am on a Saturday night, which doesn't allow you an opportunity to play. I wouldn't recommend Jaxpot, Bartons, or anywhere around this hell hole!!!!!”

”Had to pay 20 dollar resort fee. Pool was only open til 9, which was a disappointment. Very noisy and smelled of smoke. Staff was nice and property was well maintained.”

”Good location. Breakfast was fine. Very disappointed that although the room appeared clean at our late check in, things were not great! Toilet paper in the toilet, dirty towels on the back of the bathroom door, wrappers from cups shoved against the wall on the table between the beds. Clearly, there was a cursory cleaning but NO attention to details. Extremely disappointed as we had stayed here before with no issues.”

”If staying in Battle Mountain I'd definitely go with Big Chief. There aren't a lot of choices and they are definitely a diamond in the rough.”

”Overall, a decent motel in Elko. The outdoor pool was a great amenity, especially for people with kids. I did need to skim the pool, although, this was not annoying and I understand how difficult it can be to keep a pool spotless. The bedding, pillows and blankets were better than expected and I was able to sleep easily. The continental breakfast was fine; about average for the size of the property with limited options. There was also very little outside noise in the room, which was better than...

”This location is ideal if you need a place to rest for 8 hours driving to or from Vegas. Owners are super friendly and accommodating. I selected this place because of the reviews that the beds were comfortable and they were. It is a bit rustic but if you can get past that, it has all the essentials.”
