”The after hours check in was simple and the staff was very friendly. The view was exceptional. However, the reason for the 1 star was that the room condition especially for the price was unacceptable. The carpet in our ocean front room was so dirty/stained the my wife and kids had the underside of their bare feet dark from walking around on the carpet after a short amount of time. We put our shoes on in the room for the remainder of our stay due to this. The coffee pouches were placed by hand...

”Great location with parking. The staff were very nice, check-in was quick. The room was spacious and clean, rustic details were quirky and cute. We were in room 22 on the roadside so it was a bit noisy but quieted down after 11 pm. Would definitely stay again but request a room away from the road.”

”No elevators or AC, so travelers need to be aware. Not as nice as I expected, but it was okay for an overnight stay. It is oceanfront as advertised.”

”wonderful, family friendly place to stay by the beach. it feels really homey and fun. lots of snacks in the office and looks like they lend out beach toys for the kids. room was comfy, warm enough/cool enough, shower nice and hot. we had a great time, the owner greeted us, gave us local recommendations (Crabby Oyster has the best fish and chips!), and was able to accommodate our late check out request. This place is not sleek and elegant--go to a large hotel if that is what you are looking...
