”I will start with the positive. We got massages and the spa was nice. The massages were good. The steakhouse was wonderful and the manager there, the waitress and the staff throughout Oglebay were really good.
Now for the not so good: We were there for our 40th anniversary, which they had in their system, but we were given a room in one of the lodge wings that only had a view of the wall belonging to the next building of rooms. Most of the rooms in our section had balconies you could go out on...

”Everything was great! Bed could have been better.. we had a king that sunk in the middle. Definitely needs to be updated with a fresh coat of paint. The bar was beautiful and the bartender was very helpful in planning what to do in the area. We would go back for sure! Absolutely beautiful scenery.”

”This is a beautiful luxury resort with all the amenities and it has a super friendly atmosphere. The spa experience is top notch and the therapists are excellent. There were some areas that were not open and under renovation during our stay. There were also a few restaurants that were closed which made the selection limited. Still, the accommodations are beautiful and the 2200 acres spectacular. A lot to see and do so if you are alone or traveling with kids there are plenty of activities.”
