”Communication was excellent. Location was great for what adventures we had planned. The basement apartment had everything we needed. The two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom was well equipped. Only thing that we did not enjoy was zero windows or way to see outside. Great place of you need a place to sleep, eat relax outside and quiet. ”

”Great stay, cabin had everything we needed and the firewood on property was nice. Plenty of room for the dog to roam outside and we left tick free, which is always a plus. Park bench in front of your personal falls went great with the morning coffee. Blackwater falls was a fun trip. The path down is on the back side of the parking lot beside the snake shop. It's a trek down to the falls, be prepared. Douglas and Albert falls was a good time, when you get there. Getting back to Douglas...

”This was the third year that we stayed at the cabin.We have consistently been happy.The only disappointment was, the first several days of the week were very warm, I would have liked to been able to turn on the fan on the first floor living space to lower the temperature in the upper bedrooms ( the remote to control the fan is missing)Besides this, which was Not really a big issue, everything else was close to perfect.Thanks for any enjoyable stay!”

”This property was absolutely beautiful, clean, and well stocked for a large family. The house itself feels very private because the cabins are spread apart. We went swimming at the beach, rented kayaks, went about 25 minutes away to Oakland, MD to Swallow Falls State Park and Deep Creek Lake. So much to do and everyone from grandma to the teenagers to the 1 year old had a blast. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds and couches are comfortable. Lots of towels. Would highly recommend ”

”The family had a great time. The cabin was beautiful and clean with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The mornings were greeted with the sound of the Three Fork Creek flowing as you sipped your coffee. Very relaxing. We explored West Virginia and ended our day at Laurel Lodge with a fully equipped kitchen for dinner, campfire and s’mores bye the creek. So far the best family trip ever.”

”Had a guys weekend away. The home was a perfect home base. The resort had everything we needed for a great weekend (golf course, bar, restaurant, perfect fall weather). Terra Alta is also a wonderful little mountain town with great coffee and beer. May need to look into purchasing a home in Alpine Lake.”

”We would definitely stay here again. The house is nice and quiet, and the resort is really nice. We had 2 very minor issues. The ceiling light in the upstairs bathroom was out. There is also a minor leak near the back door. Neither we’re important enough to contact anyone.”

”Such ease from when I booked this property, to departure. The host was super helpful and informative with recommendations of things to do in the area. The house was clean and had everything that we needed. The resort was nice, and there’s a lot of hikes within a short distance. If you’re looking for privacy and to get away from the busy city life, this is definitely the place to be! Can’t wait to come back again :)”
