”We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. Cannot recommend this place enough - would still be there if we could ☺️”

”Grounds are immaculate. Great view of the bush/river. Comfy bed. Good water pressure. Manager was fantastic. Good location (7 mins from New Plymouth by car). Quiet, safe. Can bike safely to New Plymouth ( sidewalk to round about on state highway 3 then side street with on road cycle path). Restaurant with yummy food on site. Things that could be better: Had only one BBQ so you need to reserve it in advance. Great stay and definitely a place I would go back. ”

”This is a lovely hotel in a great location. Right near the coastal walkway and walking distance to the park. Our suite was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. If you need to park a vehicle it's a good idea to reserve a spot ahead of time. We didn't, but luckily there were two spots left. Lastly, Janine at reception is an absolute gem!”

”This is a modern hotel, within 10 minutes walk of the center. Everything was as detailed in their own description. We were delighted to have been able to borrow their mountain style bikes to ride along the coastline cycle path.”
