”The day we arrived it was a beautiful fall day and stepping into the farmhouse seemed so much more. The fall decor and the house decor made us feel very welcomed. All that we needed was readily available. The grandchildren loved playing outside on the swings and seeing deer every morning. We also enjoyed having a campfire at night with a relaxing glass of wine. Very family friendly.”

”I find old houses to be charming and this one is no exception. With winding stairs and off-limits closets/doors, i wished we could explore it more. Space heaters were already on for our arrival and easy to adjust to our comfort level. The king bed was luxurious, the pantry and fridge had spices and some staples, and there was even pet dishes if you forget yours. Location was convenient for our Fredericksburg event, and the animals added personality. Only wish our stay had been longer to enjoy...

”The property is well located. The room was reasonably comfortable and the host provided some nice conveniences such as picnic plates and cutlery. On the downside, you WILL hear any night owl neighbors in the unit upstairs. Also, the flooring level change as you approach the bathroom is a bit of a tripping hazard. ”

”Host was very responsive and helpful! The VRBO was beautiful and well taken care of. The mountain view was awesome. Our group of 11 stayed very comfortably! The hot tub and sauna were clean and easy to use. Additionally, our host provided a loaf of sourdough bread and muffins from a local bakery which were delicious. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!”

”Absolutely fabulous home! Stayed two nights with 8 friends for a ladies weekend and had a wonderful experience. The house is situated beautifully, well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen, and had extremely comfortable beds. We loved being so close to the Old Rag trailhead, and also got to enjoy the local area as well. Elena (host) was extremely responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend. ”

”This house is very nice, although it’s lacking in a few areas for its price. A hot tub and game room were present in other Luray homes we have stayed in previously for a few hundred dollars less. The home has character of yesteryears and accommodated my family quite well. And the checkout policy is very easy. We did have a problem entering the home as the code given to me was incorrect. It would have been nice to have a phone number to contact the host but only email communication was provided...
