”This was a spectacular visit to the OBX! The house was clean and beautiful all around. The coffee/tea bar was exquisite and the hot tub was lovely after a long day of fun/physical recreation. Our hosts were attentive, kind, and resourceful. Their communication was top notch! We couldn’t be happier. We recommend this vacation home to anyone. ”The property was quiet and felt private though in a neighborhood. The house was very clean and the kitchen well appointed for cooking. Our little dog came with us and was welcomed to stay. All was in good order as was described in the VRBO listing. Our only suggestion might be that the mattress was a little too firm--a memory foam mattress pad would be great! ”Four of us (two adults and two grown kids) stayed for five nights over the holiday weekend. The location of this property right on the Duck/Southern Shores boundary was just great. Sunset views of the bay were great and the ocean was a short walk or drive away. The property was very clean. We are used to renting homes that are a little more lived in, so the lack of games and puzzles (and basic cooking necessities like salt and pepper) threw us a bit. ”We absolutely loved our stay at ocean hideaway. The location was amazing, ease of access to the beach with the golf cart was perfect. We loved being right across the street from the boardwalk and hustle and bustle of duck. Katy checked in and communicated quickly and efficiently with and questions we had.
