”Hotel has been updated recently. Our room air conditioner started leaking in the night. Staff quickly transferred us first thing in the morning to another room. The water was also turned off in town for 4 hours during the night. Not fault of the hotel, and luckily didn’t affect us much since it was between 10pm-2am. Disadvantage was not elevator to get to our second floor room with multiple bags/suitcases. No pool at this location. Breakfast was delicious!”

”Warning: A LOT of steps! The guest rooms are on several levels—definitely not handicap-friendly. We have done several B&Bs over the years and always enjoyed great breakfasts and meeting the innkeepers and other guests. While breakfast was good and made to order, the “charm” we’ve enjoyed in the past was missing. The decor was very eclectic—no real theme other than filling up a very large facility. ”Poorly maintained property. Staff was nice but this place needs maintenance.”

”Room and general areas clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was room was a little cramped - one of the beds (two queens) was about 8 inches from the wall, making it difficult to get into that side of the bed.”

”TV hard to figure out how to use for a senior citizen. The room had a smell not very pleasing. It wasn't offensive nor nauseating.”

”Room was clean. The bathtub appeared to be newer, but there wasn't a rubber mat, nor anything stuck to the bottom of the tub to keep people from slipping, sliding and falling. I fell once while trying to bend over to get the soap for washing and then again while I was hanging onto the handicap bar and trying to turn around to get rinsed off. We put a towel on the tub floor to keep from slipping. I informed the front desk when I checked out.”

”It is ok accommodation for the money”

”Each staff member we encountered were extremely nice and helpful. The property is very clean and well maintained. We were staying for a lacrosse event at Utica Park, so this was very convenient. The park is a 7-10 minute easy drive.”

”The room was small but comfortable. The bed was too soft, but that's just me. I prefer a much firmer than average mattress. Having the diner right on site was great. The service was awesome & the breakfast delicious. I'd have no problem staying here again, or even just coming to eat.”

”This is an older hotel obviously. The staff was excellent, the room was okay and the breakfast was very limited. We probably won't stay there again but might be fine for most people.”

”We were just there one night, but we’re over in that area occasionally. We’ll stay again. Staff was very helpful and polite. Room and grounds were very clean. Price was reasonable. Breakfast bar was one of the better ones I’ve seen lately. We’ll stay there again”

”Excellent location with lots of easy free parking. Chef made us a delicious, large portion, plated breakfast each morning. She was extremely helpful answering questions about the property, surrounding sites and places to dine for dinner. Bonus- "The Barn" is located right next to the Inn and had live entertainment both nights we stayed. I highly recommend this Inn if looking to stay in Harper's Ferry!!”
