This property sees very few Americans so the language barrier was very tough, but overall I thought the staff was quite rude. Translations took a few tries to understand and at one point the tour desk mocked me. I wanted to sit by the window during dinner but I had to move because as one person I wasn’t allowed to sit at a table for 4 even though it was not crowded and was told to move. Some of the staff were kind but many were dismissive. The room was ok, it was pretty hot and we didn’t have much control over the AC, the shower took a while to warm up. The food was the biggest complaint, but all inclusive usually has bad food. We were even more disappointed to find out the two restaurants that required reservations were also buffets. My last straw was, at the store we bought snacks for our upcoming flight back, and after purchasing many items and about the leave the lady had the audacity to ask me if I had bought the fan that I already came in the store with. As a Black American the last place I thought I would be accusing of stealing would be Africa. Honestly, I found the European guests kinder than the staff. Unfortunate, but I don’t understand how this would ever be considered a 5 star hotel.
