”We loved our stay. It is such an elegant home with a nice connection to Canadian history. It was expertly updated and is extremely comfortable. Elizabeth and Glenn were consummate hosts, with a warm welcome and delicious breakfast. Parking is easy, location excellent. We traveled to Pictou for a concert at the DeCoste Centre (also amazing and within walking distance) and Seabank House was obviously the right choice because the performer also stayed there. And be sure to visit Grohmann Knives...

”Breakfast was pretty good with quite a few options. Enjoyed that the room had a sofa however the bed was uncomfortable. The room also had a microwave and fridge which was helpful. The gym was quite nice. The room and eating area could have a bit more attention from cleaning staff. The front desk staff were not that friendly. There was an issue with the toilet running constantly.”

”This charming hotel is nestled just adjacent historic downtown of Charlottetown - a 10 minute walk to all the shopping and sights. The rooms are beautifully equipped and design is in all of the details. Beds and linens are best in class, the bathroom is spacious and well stocked; abundant water pressure; flawless tech and good control of the rooms hvac system. ”The location is very good as it is close to many restaurants, banks, shopping and bars. There is a pub off the lobby but, it was full for a birthday party. No other option was offered to us for food. Though not rude the desk employee wasn't overly friendly either. This hotel needs some serious maintenance, upgrades and deep cleaning. The room door seemed to have a gap all around it and there was a strong smell of weed in the hallway. There is no elevator. There are motel units which seem...

”We booked this for our mini honeymoon the three nights following our wedding (end of Sept) and were excited to stay in the King Suite. But ended up being quite disappointed. The room was very cold with no heat and the front desk person wasn't the nicest when we asked for extra blankets. We weren't expecting the red carpet but at least a "thanks so much for choosing to stay here for your honeymoon". Some of the staff were great but generally no one cared that we had chose Dalvay for our honeymoon...

”Such a wonderful hotel! From check in to check out all the staff were so friendly and helpful! Soft baked cookies, happy hour drinks, great breakfast and excellent service. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Perfect walking distance to the water, many shops and restaurants”
