Polpithigama Hotellit

”Lovely staff, nice place, solid restaurant. Very cool pool. Let down by lack of accessible power points in the suites.”

”When I arrived at the property, despite me canceling my previous reservation, they were confused as they saw two reservations, and even after me showing that I had canceled it, they still gave me a hard time. They should have better communication with the booking agency so that this does not happen to someone else in future. The room was OK but nothing spectacular. Definitely not a five star hotel by any means .”

”Wonderfull 🙏🌈”

”Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely return.”

”Good”

”There was so many mosquitoes in our room. We got to change room, but had to spend the night moving. Also, new room had a very bad smell and was not maintained well. Very expensive room for the standard you get.”

”A great place to stay while traveling to Dambulla for the Sigirya hikes or cave temples. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. I highly recommend getting a massage at the spa. This was one of our favorite massage experience as the staff is very experienced and caring in their session.”

”Very rural location which meant we were very aware of the noise of village dogs during the night. It is an 8 minute tuktuk ride from the Dambulla bus stand, but only a 600 metre walk to the access to the Dambulla Cave Temples. The bathroom was tired and could do with a significant refresh.”
