”I was impressed with the view and some of the furnishings at first glance. However, later that evening when I went to bed, I discovered dirt stains on one of the pillows and on the sheets! I’m a frequent traveler for work and had never encountered such a filthy bed! I has to send my husband to pick up clean bedding from the reception desk which was not ideal. It was very uncomfortable to sleep in that bed even after changing the sheets. A clean bed should be essential, not optional.”

”Nice hotel with dry sauna, steam sauna and a hot tub. Very quiet, didn't really hear any other guests which was a good thing. Only complaint is that mosquitoes were somehow able to sneak into our room one after another. Not sure where they came from as the mosquito screen in the window didn't have holes in it or anything else. Oh and don't leave any food in your car, appatently there are a lot of bears in the area. Too bad we didn't see any, heh. Check out Robertos nearbyq for excellent mexican...

”Up on arriving in my room, I found that the bed including the sheets and pillows was completely dirty, as if someone had just left after sleeping in it without the room being cleaned. When I called front desk to report this unacceptable situation, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and that I would have to come down to collect new sheets and pillow cases to change the bedding myself. Having to handle housekeeping duties after paying for accommodation is appalling. Front desk...

”My wife and I just completed a two night stay at the Alpenhof Lodge. We love the location and easy in and out. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Checking in and out was a breeze. The cleaning staff was very nice and when we asked for additional tissue they grabbed us another box immediately. We will definitely be staying at the Alpenhof again.”

”The room was clean with microwave and fridge that was very helpful. Staff were very helpful to tell us about the complimentary bike rental provided by the hotel. Breakfast was very good to have, since not many hotels in Mammoth Lakes provided complimentary breakfast. Husband and I had a wonderful time and we plan to come back during the winter season and staying at this hotel.”

”Impressive size condo living room, kitchenette and dining area with nice layout. Bathroom size is tight but acceptable for single user (versus couples sink or separate shower from toilet). Very large beds that are very comfortable. Overall room very tidy and nice. Hallways, elevators and carpets are very dated however and can use a refresh.”

”We did not receive an email with check-in instructions, such as the room information and access codes, in advance, so I had to contact the property. It would have been helpful if they had sent us a property map beforehand. We had to visit several buildings to find ours.
Fortunately, the phone number was not an automated system, and a staff member answered right away and provided the room information. However, I still never received the email.
Other than that, everything was good. The unit was...
