”The room itself was fine. All I needed was a bed , tv and shower. It just was real old and dirty, and broken. My room smelled like smoke (cigarettes) so I asked the front desk to please get me a new room. He was very sweet and accommodating, but the second room he showed me, smelled even worse. ”When I arrived at 6 PM, the staff was busy, but I got in within a reasonable amount of time and they checked me in. The room is beautiful, and I love the decor. The bed slept really well and having a high-tech shower was great. Everything was so spacious and well laid out. Free drinks were helpful too and I was able to relax for two glorious, blissful nights. Their breakfast was one of the better ones I’ve had and I’ve never had scrambled eggs so good either. ”The lobby has dried mud all over. The first room they gave us smelled like teenage boy locker room. The second room was clean. The bathroom ceiling had black on it though. Refused to shower in it. Breakfast was passable at best. There isn’t many choices to stay in Point Pleasant that’s why it got a 3. Otherwise it would have been lower.”

Community pool with slides, kiddie pool and diving board next door along with a pool and hot tub at the hotel. CVS and Applebee's within walking distance. Great hot breakfast variety.”

”I stayed here for my son's orientation at Ohio University and knew not to expect much but was told by a friend rooms were clean. And they were clean. If you need a very very basic place for a night, it's fine, as long as you aren't too picky. The room is sparse. The vanity is not a regular bathroom countertop and very small and the sink is low. The lighting was bad, I needed to do some work and had to take the lampshade off the light so I could see. The bedside lamps were tiny short...
