Yksityiset loma-asunnot – Pond Eddy

”Pam was a wonderful host. Very communicative and helpful. The house is charming with a lovely view of the lake from the front porch. The only issue that caught us by surprise is that the only bathroom is downstairs while the bedrooms upstairs. It was probably in the property description but didn't catch out attention. I bring it up because I usually make a trip or two to the bathroom at night and it could be a factor for elderly guests or those with physical challenges. Nevertheless, we...

”This was a fine stay at a no-frills cabin home in the tri-states. Easy check-in and out and the amenities you'd expect for a low key weekend. A word of warning for those sensitive to cigarette smoke: this very much seems like a former smokers home and the smell took me back decades (not in a good way).”

”Overall cleanliness was fine, bath mats in bathrooms were not clean. Covered in hair and dirt, very gross. Was not able watch anything on the tv apps without needing a parental code, which the property manager could not tell us. I had to sign into my own apps on the tv. So just be prepared for that. ”

”Sweet home to stay in. We had 4 adults and 2 kids under 12 and it was spacious for all of us. Kids loved the game room. Only thing my family was not use to was there was only one tv in the main room and my husband likes the noise of a TV to fall asleep. Ha ha I enjoyed the peace. Beautiful scenery of the stream in the back. Thanks for hosting will stay again when we are up that way.”

”The house was ok but some of the lights did not work and was difficult to have someone come out. The river access was difficult and hard to understand the directions.”

”Most disgusting place I've ever attempted to stay at, we did not stay. Stay FAR FAR away! BUGS EVERYWHERE every single corner, bed was filthy, back deck was atrocious”

”This was an excellent property. It was clean, well stocked and beautiful. The host was attentive and available. It was really a wonderful stay.”

”We loved out stay! Would absolutely stay again. There is a little (under 5 min) walk to the tiny house itself on some rough terrain but it’s worth it for the seclusion. The place itself was so charming and cute. So fun seeing the animals and trails are walking distance away. The nearest towns are 30+ minutes away and there are no big box stores, just small shops and restaurants, so pack accordingly. The house has cooking supplies, utensils, plates and even coffee there but you need to bring a...

”Excellent host, communicative and helpful. The space is a nice space and plenty of rooms for all. The river access is great and really lovely to have. If you're going in the winter there is a great, new sauna on the deck. We had a great time grilling on the propane griddle and relaxing on the deck. Peaceful and quiet. Be aware, if you are tall, the doorways are a little low, and one of the bedrooms is just off the kitchen and not private.”

”Property was as advertised. Simple accommodations and a great price for the area. I did have to reach out to the host for check-in details rather than being sent them ahead of time as usually happens but she responded very quickly. It was nice that they had a bunch of streaming services available on the tv too.”
