You can usually guage the cleanliness of a hotel by the upkeep of the hallway carpets, and right up front I noticed these were spotless. I appreciate the ease of check in, as well as the eco friendly style. There's no daily interruption of maid services, but a quick call brings anything you might need. Its a home away from home. This is a small locally owned buisness and I appreciate knowing they care about the buisness and their guests. The Outdoors Inn is my first choice when I visit Sandpoint. ”

”First time staying at this property, the road turning off the highway was a little tricky to find and could easily be passed. The outside building is nothing special, but we were very pleasantly surprised with the suite we stayed in. Very cute, warm and cozy, clean and many amenities that accentuated our visit. Great destinations basically just to sleep and fairly close to all the things.”

”The condo was just as advertised. Furniture was great, beds were acceptable. The greatest asset was the ski-in/ski-out. Many boast this perk, but we literally walked out the back door, put on skis, and skied down to the base. You have to pole a bit or take the skis off and walk the 10 yards to the lift, but it was very convenient. ”Short stay in Sandpoint was lovely! Mindy and family were great hosts and accommodations were comfortable, beautifully decorated and well stocked for a short stay or even longer. ”The house is very spacious, there was plenty of space for our large family (9 adults, 9 kids). We loved everything about the house! The ski in -ski out access was magical, but a little tricky. Since we had 5 small children 6 and under, parents needed to drive them to the lift. The older children (ages 7, 8, 11, 12) and adults were able to do the ski access to lifts. The host, Lou, was very helpful and accommodating. We had a fabulous stay!”

”We had a great time staying here. It was a nice place for our whole family. We wanted a place to stay that was close to Schweitzer and dog friendly. It’s about a half hour away and an easy drive. We loved being able to use the hot tub and enjoyed the variety of games and the ping pong table. The only complaint is that we tried reaching out to the owner to ask a question about a week before our trip and we never got a response.”
