”Interesting and unique place ! The bed was super comfortable, slept great. Rooms very small and no extra frills, it worked for the main purpose, sleep, shower. Perfect place for travelers to meet and mingle. Mostly spent our time in Truckees many restaurants/bars or Northstar skiing. I would recommend if looking for a lil more affordable place ! Personally a lil pricy for a hostel, but its Truckee, tourist town and close to skii resorts, thats just the way it is !”

”The staff people were great. The food at the restaurant was great, the drinks even better. It's like staying at the pub in the Cotswalds country side, which was cool. Unfortunately, the rooms left a lot to be desired, especially at the price charged. The very, very squeaky bed, the windows with a ton of street noise, the shower/tub from the 1800s, which I thought was a period piece harking back to the pub idea, and essentially no friills everything. I've paid 1/5th the price at a basic Marriott...

”We ended up going on a diff weekend due to storm blocking roads. Nice they allowed us to change despite policy. However few problems with our stay 1. Housekeeping. We asked for extra comforter / duvet as we had 4 guests in that each preferred own blanket. Multiple times had to re-ask as housekeeping kept taking them during cleaning and turndown. On top of this there were some shelves covered in thick layer of dust. Superficial job. 2. Food was OK. Manzanita was decent but lobby and taco place...

”The unit is renovated, with modern appliances, and bathroom, the bedding is confortable ans overall we really enjoyed our stay there! The location is perfect, 5 min walk to the Gondola and near the shops and restaurants while being just away from the noise.”

”Super cute cabin and lovely setting. Had some trouble with finding parking for a second vehicle — one staff person told me we had to go all the way to Kings Beach to park it, which was not very helpful. Aside from the parking issue it was a great place to stay.”

”The room was super clean,convenient. Had everything needed super close to the lake. Seeing in person was even than online. The staff was super friendly and helpful grocery store literally four minute walk away lovely places to eat. Must try the Italian across the street hot tub fire pit private beach. I can’t say enough about this place. We’ll definitely come back A+++++”
