Cozy retreat in the countryside: At the foot of Hesse's highest mountain, the Wasserkuppe, our holiday home is nestled in the nature of the spa town Poppenhausen, within the UNESCO biosphere reserve. From here, you can walk to the region’s most beautiful mountains and lakes, passing varied landscapes, panoramic views, blooming meadows, and fields. Enjoy peace and relaxation far from the hustle and bustle. For adventure seekers, the nearby Wasserkuppe offers hiking, summer tobogganing, climbing forest, winter sports, paragliding, gliding, and the German Gliding Museum. Swim in the natural lakes of the Rhön, such as the Guckaiseen, or at the heated outdoor pool in Poppenhausen. The house at the edge of the village offers relaxation and is the perfect starting point for activities. Unwind in the hot tub, which you can use without limits. Wood for the hot tub and grill is provided. A plancha grill is available for cozy evenings. Air conditioning ensures pleasant temperatures. The kitchen features a coffee machine for a perfect start to your day; coffee is also provided. Please note: the TV is not a smart TV. While your children play in the large, safe garden, relax in the shady lounge area. Idyllic hiking and cycling trails begin right outside the door. Shops, cafés, and lakes are just minutes away.
