The kitchen was stunning because it had windows all around, and you could see the deer grazing in the yard. A kitchen was well set up. It was very quiet and a nice stroll through the apple Orchard to the coast for a view of the street was icing on the cake.

The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean.The beds were comfortable. We loved looking out the kitchen windows at the sunset, fog and mountains. The beauty of the ocean, the grounds, the mountains, the deer families exceeded our expectations- just magical. We picked a few apples from the orchard, visited the chickens and peacocks, walked on the trails and breathed the fresh air. We would love to return here someday. We had such an enjoyable time here at the Hunters Gate Guest House! The house is immaculately clean with comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you may need to prepare meals. The little art treasures throughout the house are interesting to ponder! We loved the spaciousness and solitude of this property—the nature walk paths, seeing deer families every day, watching the morning fog and mist roll in from the sea, visiting the hens and peacocks to say hello, viewing a bald eagle on his (her?) perch, and enjoying the whiffs of lavender from the garden. The property (home and land) is well-maintained and well-care for.Our host Marjory was gracious and responsive. We had a chance to chat and enjoyed learning more about the property and the house. I would highly recommend this well-appointed home for a relaxing stay in a beautifully natural environment.

A comfortable, well-appointed house in a quiet, serene setting - it was exactly what we wanted! We especially enjoyed the wildlife, including eagles and bats, but especially the deer who came right into the front yard while we sat and watched from only a few feet away. The enchanting path down to the private beach was beautiful as well. And Marjory was a kind and accommodating host. Thank you!

Hunter's Gate Farm is beautiful and peaceful. Our house was very clean, comfortable, beautiful and well-maintained. The kitchen was well equipped. Margie responded quickly to our needs. The only thing that was less than expected was that the beach was so very small. If the tide was in there was no where to walk. The water isn't visible from the house. I think those things should have been more apparent in the ad. I still think it is a great place to stay, it just isn't quite as represented.

So, so wonderful. We stayed at this property for 5 days and loved it. Great access to Olympic National Park and a short distance to Port Angeles. It was so cool to look one way and see the water and then the other way and see the mountains.The house was spotless and well laid out for me, my wife and our grandson. We loved walks on the nature trails to see the water and bald eagles!We will absolutely love to come back here again.

We had an amazing stay! The home was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and filled with high-end finishes that made it feel so luxurious. The home is beautiful, very clean, a quiet setting. We are all over 70 with some mobility issues so getting to the beach wasn’t an option for us but we enjoyed the patio and lovely landscaping.

Lovely stay!

This guest house is wonderful! Great location between Sequim and Port Angeles and very nice and private. My kids enjoyed the herd of deer and visiting the chickens. The beach walk is an adventure but we loved it too! We’d love to come again!

Absolutely excellent stay! The property was clean and cozy. We had everything we needed inside. The paths near the house were fun to explore, especially the beach trail! My kids loved the chickens, peacocks, and deer family that live on the property. It's an easy drive to everything Olympic National Park has to offer. Can't wait to go back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property grounds are breathtaking and the guest house was extremely clean, well-appointed and comfortable. We explored the grounds every night and found something new every time. We greatly enjoyed our interactions with the owner and her property manager as well. The beds were comfortable and the interior very clean with interesting asian decor. Our granddaughter loved the chicken coup. The path to the ocean was rugged but doable. The ocean overlook was beautiful. The family of deer that apparently lived on the farm were very entertaining. We wouldn't hestitate to stay there again!

Review of Hunters Gate Guest House

We had an excellent time staying at your guest house. The house and property exceeded our expectations! We love all the special touches that made our stay feel like home. Our first day we were greeted by a family of deer that continued every day and warmed our hearts. We also spotted an eagle in a tree out by the edge of the bluff, very cool! We spent most of our days in Olympic National Park, hiking and exploring. It was nice to come back after a long day of hiking to a home with a full kitchen, great showers, great beds, large screen TV and a large comfy couch to watch our favorite shows.We highly recommend this wonderful home to others who come to the see the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula.

Beautiful property

We enjoyed our stay in the guest house, it is a very beautiful property. We didn't get a chance to visit the lagoon or private beach as it was quite a further distance than expected but we walked several trails with some overlooks with stunning views. The owners live next door and were active on the property around the guest house throughout our stay- very pleasant friendly people. Overall great stay even though it wasn't exactly what we were expecting!

Beautiful place to stay

The house is very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The grounds around the house are beautiful, with nature trails and deer. An easy drive to Port Angeles or into the mountains for hiking. We loved it.
