House was immaculate and as shown on the listing. Had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Cookware, utensils, grill, washer and dryer, were all provided and in great condition. This was actually one of the nicest and most accurately described properties we’ve stayed at and we had zero disappointment with the home. Additionally, although you don’t have beach views from the front of the home, the house faces east which means the front deck has plenty of shade in the afternoon and evening. This allowed my family to enjoy dinner, drinks or just together-time on the deck after a long day at the beach. Many homes get direct sun in the afternoons/evenings making it near impossible to enjoy the deck or lower level in the hot Texas sun. This was the first time renting from a real estate company though. And while they were super friendly, made the check in quick and easy, and were kind, it added a different layer to the experience. Whereas, previous hosts would communicate almost immediately when I reached out, Cobb Real Estate was not as quick. Not a big deal. Also, an additional contract is required when renting from them. While this wasn’t too big of a deal, it did add to the hassle, and made the experience a little less convenient as we planned this trip on shorter notice than usual. All said, it was a good experience and, even given the added layers, I would still rent through this real estate company again as the experience, overall, was one of our better ones.
