”We had a fantastic stay at Peppers Beach Club in Port Douglas and would happily return. From the moment we arrived, the staff made a wonderful impression. Check-in was smooth, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. What really stood out, though, was their incredible help at check-out. We ran into an issue with our Uber transfer to the airport, and the staff on duty went above and beyond—calling multiple local transfer companies on our behalf until they secured us a ride in time to make our flight....

”We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The room had everything we needed, small kitchen, with fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. The bathroom was great, big walk in shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is a small swimming pool, which our son enjoyed. A covered outdoor kitchen with barbie for guests to use. There is also a laundry for guests. We didn't use these. The location is great, a 2 minute walk to the beach and to the shops and restaurants, couldn't be better. The...

”The staff were generally cheerful, helpful, and responsive. We had problems with our TV and they managed to replace it with a smart TV the next day. Some annoyances: The advertised “Garden View” was dirt, tree roots, sparse grass and the guest services building. We asked for additional coffee pods but were told we would have to pay an additional &1.00 per pod. The toilet seat would not stay up (only a male problem). ”

”The staff were fabulous, always so willing to assist…. including putting suncream on my back! Just steps from the beach, I could even hear the waves from my patio. It wasn’t a problem for me but there are no lifts only stairs to the rooms. The rooms were spotless. The pool was a good temperature and a great addition. It is on the small size but as I was always the only one in there, it was fine. ”

”Mantra Portsea is nicely decorated apartment hotel within walking distance from the center. The service level is good otherwise, but the rooms are only cleaned once a week. We stayed for 4 days so this was sufficient. You can get clean towels if you like. The breakfast was good. However during my stay I washed some clothes and they were damaged because the clotheshorse in the balcony was rusted. The hotel agreed to compensate the clothes after the housekeeping was unable to remove the stains....
