The Tides - 70s Seaside Bungalow

Step into The Tides, a nostalgic Port Douglas retreat where relaxed coastal living meets retro charm. Built in 1972 and recently updated, this cosy haven brings a touch of 70s spirit back to life, offering a truly authentic beachside experience.



Just a few steps from the iconic Four Mile Beach, the house sits in a peaceful location with no rear neighbours, backing onto Four Mile Park and playground for serene connection with the beach.



The Space:

Inside, the home is thoughtfully designed with two comfortable queen bedrooms, a combined lounge and kitchen, and a refreshing rain shower in the bathroom.



The space invites you to unwind with a cool ocean breeze on the front patio or enjoy the soothing sounds of the waves from the large grassed backyard, where you can cook up a holiday barbecue on the Weber Baby Q.



Just a 10-minute drive or taxi ride to town—or a 45-minute walk along the shore—The Tides offers a seamless blend of comfort and coastal charm. With beach access from both the front and rear, it's the perfect spot to fully embrace the relaxed pace of Port Douglas.



Guest Access:

You'll have exclusive access to the entire home and surrounding gardens.



Other Things to Note:

✔ Minimum Age: The primary guest must be 25+ to book.

✔ ID Requirement: After booking, you'll receive a secure link to upload your photo ID for verification.



We kindly ask that noise and music be kept to a minimum after 9:00 PM.



Smoking is not permitted in the property.



We're unable to offer luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. We recommend planning accordingly or using local storage services if needed.



A starter pack of essentials is provided, including tea, coffee, toiletries, and basic supplies. For longer stays, guests may wish to top up items as needed.



Mid-Stay Cleans

Daily cleaning isn't included, allowing you to enjoy full privacy.



Mid-stay cleans are available on request for an additional fee, ideal for longer stays.



For stays longer than 14 nights, a mid-stay clean and linen change are mandatory to help maintain the property. An additional fee of $159per service applies.



Interaction with Guests:

We value your privacy and provide self-check-in for a seamless arrival.



While we live locally we won’t meet you unless requested.
