Orion C: Heated Pool, Desk, Kitchen

Be one of the first to stay at this brand new designer home in the heart of Port Isabel! Ideal for solo travelers or couple, this modern custom home has everything: shared heated pool, open-concept kitchen and living, queen-sized bed with workspace, and a couch in the living room. Located across the bay from South Padre Island (SPI), you can experience the best of both worlds: the tranquility of the bay and the excitement of the beach. This is a non-smoking and pet-free property.


YOUR SPACE:
This cozy 1BR/1BA unit is perfect for solo travelers or couples. The queen bedroom includes ample closet space and a quiet workspace with built-in charging outlets. The bathroom features modern fixtures and a spacious walk-in glass shower. The open-concept living area includes a full kitchen with quartz countertops, travertine backsplash, under-cabinet lighting, undermount sink with sprayer, stainless appliances (gas stove/oven, fridge, garbage disposal), and light ash cabinetry. While there’s no dishwasher, the high-top dining table doubles as prep space. The stylish living room features a 60" smart TV and a pull-out sofa for additional guests.


THE PROPERTY:
Orion C is one of three units in a private triplex. You’ll have full private access to your unit, though outdoor spaces are shared with Orion A (3BR) and B (2BR). Contact us if you'd like to rent the entire property for a group stay.


INDOOR AMENITIES:
We provide linens, shower and pool towels, bath products, cookware, dishware, and a stainless drip coffee maker. High-speed WiFi (two networks), Nest smart thermostat, and remote-controlled ceiling fans are in every room. Note: Tap water may have a salty taste. Two bottles of water are provided—please bring more as needed.

**Temperature: The home is set to a comfortable 72°F using a shared Nest system located in the main house next door. You’re welcome to use the portable AC unit in the living room near the TV for additional cooling, and we’ve also provided ceiling and plug-in fans for your comfort. If you’d like the central temperature adjusted, just send us a message—we’re happy to help!


OUTDOOR AMENITIES:
Grill your catch at the charcoal BBQ (tools provided), enjoy drinks on the patio, rinse off in the outdoor showers after beach days, and unwind in our beautiful shared pool and lounge area.

***Shared Pool Note: heated pool is shared by 5 units. All other outdoor amenities are shared with Casa Cactus A, B, and C guests.

PARKING, ENTRY & SECURITY:
You’ll have one designated parking spot on the gravel driveway in front of the house (right side of the walkway), plus free street parking for any additional vehicles. Note: The driveway has a small curb—please approach slowly. Your private entrance is located along the right side of the house; follow the walkway to the second door marked "C". Smart locks with unique access codes are provided on check-in day, and security cameras monitor entry points and the parking area for your safety.


NEIGHBORHOOD:
We’re located in a quiet residential area next to a local park with a walking track, playground, and basketball court. Grocery stores are 1 mile away, and you’re just 2 minutes to bayfront restaurants and 7 minutes to South Padre Island. A free shuttle bus stops at the nearby park and runs between Port Isabel and the beach. Port Isabel is a peaceful coastal town on the Laguna Madre Bay, known for fishing, boating, birdwatching, and SpaceX launches. It’s the perfect year-round escape for those seeking natural beauty and tranquility—with quick access to SPI’s buzz.


THINGS TO DO:
Surf, fish, zip-line, ride go-karts, mini-golf, horseback ride, hit the waterpark, enjoy tacos and margaritas, cruise at sunset, and of course, relax on miles of sandy beach. And yes—you can see rocket launches from here! Some of the best SpaceX views are just a few blocks away. Check their site for launch times


CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS:
We follow the booking platform’s cancellation policy. Choose carefully between refundable and non-refundable options. Can’t make it? Non-refundable bookings may be moved to future dates (subject to rate changes).
