”Visiting Bordeaux for the first time, our host made us feel welcome and provided an excellent overview of the town, places to see, a few (very excellent) food recommendations and was available the whole stay to answer questions. Our room was perfectly prepared with everything we needed. The location made for easy walking to markets/attractions and also the tram. We had a fabulous time thanks to George’s fine hospitality.”

”Very friendly staff, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Only challenge is an accurate understanding of meeting arrangements to gain initial entry: Staff was waiting inside, unbeknownst to us, whilewe were waiting outside ! Instructions should stress “ring doorbell on arrival”, and provide location, since it’s a little hard to find, especially in the dark. But otherwise a truly lovely choice in Bordeaux.”

”We didn't realize there were stairs. That was the only drawback. It would be lovely for younger people. We did use the pharmacy and small grocery nearby”

”Excellent location, beautiful hotel. Only downside was that the WiFi was occasionally spotty. The breakfast buffet was exceptional.”

”The rooms are quite nice, especially the quality of the furnishings. There are several room types, including a townhouse style room. Staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. The downside is the restaurant in the bar. Poor selection of food and not well prepared; very slow service. They are closing for renovation in January; Possibly the restaurant will change? There is also a high end restaurant on the property but they were booked when we were there.”

”Nice and clean Classic studio room. Only downside was the fact that our room was located on the ground floor and the sounds from people walking outside with their luggage could be clearly heard. So better ask for a room a bit higher or on the garden side. The location was good.”
