”We ended up getting properties switched due to issues in the houses, but the one we ended up with we absolutely loved!! Very close to Covington Square. Our hostess stayed in touch regularly and was very helpful. Sweet Magnolias was filming there during our visit so we fell in love with the area even more! Everyone is nice! ”

”The tiny house experience at Liberty Stables was the perfect meld for those that like camping, don’t want to the hassle of setting up camp, love beauty and animals but don’t quite want to give up those modern amenities such as a cool shower on a hot day. My teens and I had a nice relaxing stay, close to town to see Vampires and the southern charm of Covington and Monroe, even drove down for some Fried Green Tomatoes I at the Whistle Stop Cafe. We did a trail ride. The owners were very friendly...

”This was a wonderful location and property. David was super responsive to inquiries and requests. It was a great set-up for big gatherings—lots of room to spread out. The bedrooms were well-appointed. Two of the beds are pull-outs, and they were amazingly comfortable (I was pleasantly surprised). The kitchen was fully stocked. Air-conditioning units in rooms, as well as ceiling fans, made the hot weather bearable. We would definitely book here again. Thanks for a great stay!”

”Our family gathering included 19 adults and 8 children ages 5 & under. Our parents once had a home on Lake Jackson, so this was a trip of memories for all of us. This home provided ample gathering space inside, and the pool proved a great place for outside gathering. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The kitchen had plenty of space for cooking and most of the utensils we needed. We noted several previous guests had suggested we bring our own sharp knives and disposable dining utensils...

”The pictures don't do it justice. It's so much larger than it looks in the pictures. Anything you want is only 10 minutes away or less. My daughter, adult grandchildren and great-grands all live close to Covington. The grounds are beautiful with a lot of old growth that sheilds you from your neighbors. We hope to be back.”

”Another great stay. We also enjoyed being able to check in early. The house is stocked with everything. Nice layout and clean. This was our second time renting and we have already booked for Labor Day weekend. The hosts are friendly and readily available for questions if needed. Neighbors on both sides are nice. We caught several catfish and crappie. My daughter enjoyed the kid kayaks. Highly recommend this property!!”
