"The hotel itself was nice and clean, service excellent. The single room was tiny and extremely hot. The bed was both too short and narrow for a "standard size" person. Breakfast was typical for the region, whether that's good or bad depends on your preference."

"The staff's language skills were at a really poor level, however, the hotel was also advertised to international customers. The quality of the food in the restaurant was moderate, but it did not match the price/quality ratio of the rest of Sicily. The hotel's free parking depends on luck, in our case the car was parked in the middle of an abandoned industrial plot. I see a complete lack of maintenance as the biggest factor that worsens comfort. In fact, in any destination you looked at, something was broken or unmaintained.
