Enjoyed our three week stay
Great views and a relaxing time was had at this comfortable sea side duplex. We were the only renters so we had the whole yard and pool to ourselves. Bob was an excellent resident owner host and the support staff of Maria and Ilariao were perfect and there when we needed help. Getting to Michi was an adventure especially at night and at the end of Mardi Gras...the road and the citizens were a challenge. After we got the lay of the land driving the area and meeting the residents of the Portobelo and adjacent areas was a treat. Great jungle guide near by as well as a solid Scuba/snorkeling outfit. No real drawbacks at this rental, save we are not really gated community types, which this property was in. It was safe and secure and likely exactly what other first time visitors might want. Other than that, there is no direct and convenient access to the sea over the seawall ...but as above, the view and sea sounds were perfect. .

Stephen and Katherine were great guest and took to Panama like a fish to water. After a rough start having issues at the airport with their car rental company they made it to San Marino Ocean Front , having to navigate the windy beach road after sunset. During their stay we were able to get together and visit on several occasions and had great conversations. Each of us having business history in the USA. I highly recommend these two great folks who I hope to remain friends with over the coming years and maintain communication with them, as I do with many of my guests. My staff as well loved assisting them and we all look forward to their return.

Excelente estadia
La casa esta muy buena y muy bien equipada. La piscina excelente con el sonido del mar al lado. La urbanización un poco abandonada lastima porque hay casas muy buenas y bonitas.

Get Far Away From It All!
My small party (myself, my husband, our friend & our 14 yr old son) stayed in Casa #37 for 3 nights during President's Week while exploring the area. The home is VERY spacious, well-equipped, a short drive to Portobelo and close to many recreational activities. It's perfect for those who want to be as close to the ocean as humanly possibly and surrounded by natural beauty. Bob & Maria were enthusiastic, responsive & hospitable hosts (they happened to be in casa #36 at the same time): they hooked us up with everything from local guides to a neighbor's pool (theirs was out of commission) to ketchup when we forgot to buy some for our dinner! Be sure to check before you book (and before you go) on the situation with major systems (electrical & plumbing), amenities (air conditioning & pool) and other "quirks", as several things were being improved or repaired during our stay. Even if you only need the wonderful "penthouse" master suite, we'd recommend this property as a base of operations!
