”Stay anywhere but here. They don’t actively staff the property. If you want to get stranded on the coast after they take your money and provide no service it’s a great option. We booked the hotel after visiting isle grande and found an abandoned property upon arrival. ”This is not an apartment in Portobelo like the map indicates. It's a house about a mile outside of town and it's a bit rundown. The AC can't keep up with the heat and the entire house has a slight musty smell. I left 2 weeks ago and I still can't get the musty smell out of my CPAP machine. We left early after only 2 nights because the house was so hot and and uncomfortable. The host was great.
