”We booked the zen rate for our stay, which included linens. We were disappointed to find that the stuffing from duvet was significantly clumped and that the dish soap and shampoos offered were empty (had been filled with water from previous guest). It was quite damp and humid when we arrived and the info booklet suggested using the provided space heater to remove the humidity, however one was not provided. A wood stove is available, however wood is only available for purchase at the front desk....

”The room was ok, but would be challenging for anyone who would struggle with stairs and not practical for older people as the bed was up a set of stairs, while the washroom was on the main floor of the room. Accessing the room was also up a flight of stairs. Checking in was an adventure as the hotel reception is only open from 4 to 6pm, we were attending a wedding at 3pm so couldn’t get there. They do have a system to access keys in a lockbox, but getting the details for this was slow and last...
