”Charming place, clean spacious rooms done up with great taste. Bathroom a little small, but all very clean and practical. Amazing breakfast cooked to order and served by friendly people. The place is well run and it is very comfortable. The village itself has little to offer, but it is a great spot from which to explor the Costwolds. We had a double room (2 adults 2 kids) which was really nice.”

”The Bell Inn was gorgeous it would have received a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the staffing issues. Housekeeping had failed to turn up that day and they hadn’t realised until nearly checking time so we never got into our room until 5.45. The staff dealt with this delay professionally and we were served with complimentary drinks. This caused us a bit of an issue as we had to leave at 6.15 for a meal elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again if in this area.”
