Like other reviews said, they can't seem to handle the basics. Arrived around noon, was told checkin was at 2pm. Came back at 2pm, but had to wait 30 minutes. Others were waiting much longer and every time Iv was in the lobby there were many people waiting that didn't look very happy. This hotel has potential, but not with the current management.

Le personnel, tant à la réception, nettoyage, restauration et piscine ne semble pas heureux. Pas de sourire, pas de bonjour à l'arrivée, pas de remerciement pour avoir séjourné à l'hôtel. Très pauvre service. Nous avons demandé un lit d'appoint pour notre fille, après quatre demandes, toujours pas de lit. Nous avions réservé au même endroit après un voyage dans une autre île et avions demandé une chambre supérieure. Encore une fois, problème avec le lit d'appoint. Nous avons été obligé de demander trois fois avant que le lit arrive...à 22h30. Ameublement très désuet même dans une chambre supérieure. Les deux seuls points positifs de cet établissement est le petit-déjeuner copieux et la vue superbe sur l'océan à partir du bar/resto. Nous visitons souvent le Cap Vert mais nous ne retournerons jamais plus à cet établissement.

Das Hotel ist für die Insel sicher in einem recht guten Zustand. Zwischen Neubau und bereits Renovation gab es alles. Die Anlage ist weitläufig, aber über die Festtage ziemlich laut durch die Umgebung. War aber zu erwarten.

The hotel made me pay for the reservation twice and I still haven't received my refund. They did not seem to care much about my experience. The bed was also hard and uncomfortable.

Understaffed hotel that needs an upgrade
This is a hotel that needs an upgrade in its overall conditions. I believe most of the staff are hard working/over worked, but the front desk staff appear a little aloof and not very concerned when patrons have a concern or complaint.

The hotel is older and needs repairs and updates. The curtains and cloth furniture had stains. The floor was dusty and i had to use the wipes i brought to clean the floor on mu hands and knees. The reviews that said the beds were hard are absolutely correct. Two out of the three beds were as hard as a rock. The shower leaked water all over the floor. One of the shower heads did not work. The service at the restaurants was really good and the workers at the restaurants were very attentive and nice, and the food was good. In our travels were seen the same hotel chain in Sal and Tarrafel and they were completely different. The owners need to desparately give this location some attention. We have tonhead back to this location for the end of our trip and i am not lookimg forward to it!

E' l'unica struttura di tutta l'isola che permette di trascorrere una vacanza secondo i canoni di comodità europei. Ciò significa che se soffia il vento in spiaggia e si è infastiditi dalla sabbia esiste l'alternativa per riposarsi, abbronzarsi e rinfrescarsi. La piscina con sdraio ottima per nuotare e il suo giardino. Ricca colazione e buona cucina onesta nei prezzi.

We liked the location and view, the service was often overhelmed. The level of service and amenities provided does not match the comparatively high price of the accomodation. The gym was bellow any imaginable standards. To order two drinks at the pool bar took often 45 minutes!

Mon séjour c’est bien passé, l’accueil était bon, un petit problème dans la catégorie de chambre choisie, mais qui a été vite résolu. L’hôtel est très bien localisé, proche de la plage, de bons restaurants. Le personnel est compétent, très professionnel, disponible est à l’écoute. La chambre est confortable. Il y a du choix pour le petit déjeuner.

Danger! Protect yourself and Don’t stay here!
On our 2nd day there, someone broke into one of my family members room and took all of their valuables. I found it interesting that they were the only ones in our party to be placed on the 2nd floor. They had a room that was not near the cameras. The hotel had security guards that walked back and forth on the back side of the rooms. If this is the case, how is it that the security guard on duty didn’t see what happened.

Stay Away, Not Safe
The 2nd day we arrived, our son's room was broken into. The thieves stole close to $5000 of value between cash, 2 laptops, games, clothing, and a backpack. Someone pushed the back door open. The safe in the room was not working. The hotel was not very cooperative until they knew we had family that works at the police station. the hotel is not very secure and the back doors can be easily pushed open. It is not a safe location. There are a lot of loiters by the entrance and the hotel does nothing to stop them from harassing guests.

Hôtel très moderne, lit XL, staff qui parle français, petit déjeuner TRÈS copieux et varié, piscine avec matelas et transats, vue mer depuis certaines chambres et depuis le restaurant. Possibilité de prendre un taxi depuis l'hôtel pour aller au plateau (le centre historique) en moins de 10mn et pour 200 escudos. Plage de Quebra Canela à 5mn à pied.

Aan de kust gelegen. Mooi hotel met een heel goed ontbijt. Lekker zwembad maar het water was erg zout. Vooral de kamers met zeezicht zijn mooi, met een groot dakterras, waar je kan genieten van mooie zonsondergangen.
