”This rental was a nice place to stay with the jetted tub, smart TV, and a lot of space to roam outdoors. We visited with Ed and he took us around in the ATV. It was a nice serene place with animals to visit with.”

”We came to PDC to ride over the 4th of July. This was a perfect spot for us. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was large for doing cooking and the pool on the 90 degree day was wonderful. The Irish pub is an easy walk where they have great food and a super friendly staff. We hope to come again sometime! ”

”Beautiful, well appointed property. Comfy beds. Clean. Lock box was difficult to use, and the directions told us to wash our coffee cups but there was no dish soap. Other than that, it was excellent! ”

”Loved our stay at the farmhouse! We had more than enough dishes and cookware for our stay. The beds were so comfortable. We were all fast asleep as soon as we hit the pillows. It was nice to be back in a farmhouse and you can see they took care to show the history and labor of love the home was. There were little things here and there that reminded me of my grandparents farmhouse and it was nice to reminisce.”

”This unique place has it all: charm, class, comfort, beauty, and fun. When you first walk in, you are greeted with a gorgeous staircase leading to most of the rooms. Our room was spacious, with a luxurious bathroom. The gourmet kitchen is equipped for anything and everything with seating for eight. The adjoining dining room has a large table with additional seating and windows lining two walls. And clean! This VRBO was impressively clean! I have to say the jail was a little eery after dark, but...

”The home was absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the small towns in the surrounding area. It was nice to get out of the big city and relax. Home owners where very polite and on top of communication. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for welcoming us in to your home. We will be back in the future.”

”We have stayed at the Elkader Jail House many times and the Harstad Suite is a great room for the 4 of us. The large kitchen and family space on the first floor provide plenty of space for everyone to get together and relax. Its nearby my family and takes the stress off anyone needing to make space for all of us to sleep. Its comfortable, clean and an easy to walk downtown. We'll be back soon!”
