”Pool was closed for a couple of hours and elevator broke when we were there. They were able to get the elevator fixed fairly quickly. Great location for what we needed and room was clean.”

”I would stay there again, I have to set the room was clean except I found some ants on the bed?? Maybe from left over food in the room from previous guests or possible pets that were in there??? Not a fan of pets allowed into hotel rooms.. other than that I will stay there again.”

”The Ankeny Diner delayed breakfast opening until 9am because of Father's day brunch. There were no signs or notices, and according to another guest the front desk clerk didn't even know about it, nobody at the hotel was made aware of "no breakfast" ahead of time.”

”One night stay. Arrived early, no rooms available told to wait 30 minutes. After 30 minutes watched 2 people check in with none available yet for us. 20 minutes later gal at the desk got us a room. Everything new bright clean. No Issues. Great breakfast. Waited 10 minutes at desk to check out. No one present finally 3 or 4 of the people waiting just left the keys and walked out. 8:30AM the front desk of a sold out hotel and no one present.”

”The property overall was not well maintained. There was no air conditioning in the common areas of the hotel. The rooms need to be renovated. I received a fairly clean room but had to ask for bath towels and toilet paper. The staff, however was helpful. The pictures online are not accurate. Overall, the property needs to be renovated to be worth the money you spend. Unfortunately, I will be sure not to ever stay at a Wyndom hotel.”

”Overall this is a very nice, clean, hotel which was 10 minutes away from our venue. Would have liked more breakfast options, such as turkey or chicken sausage, but no complaints about this hotel. I really liked that there was a fridge and microwave in the room. We would definitely stay here again.”

”The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our room overlooked the pond which was very nice. Only complaint I would have was the sliding barn door style bathroom door. Parking was adequate and two nice restaurants are within easy walking distance. Coffee was very good and breakfast was as expected. The staff was very friendly at checkin and also serving the breakfast . It was a busy weekend for the hotel because of a softball tournament in the area and I would say they handled it...

”We stayed at Econo Lodge in room 228 for one night and the room has BED BUGS! Once we realised that , we contacted the hotel but the staff was not helpful at all. We were told that the rooms are clean and that we were supposed to let them know at the time of stay (which was 1 night in our case). I would not recommend staying at this hotel, especially in room 228.”

”Courteous staff with quick action to our needs concerning a plugged drain. They solved the problem within 15 minutes and check back in the morning to check on the situation.”
