”Fantastic property. The staff at the front desk could be a bit less robotic and learn a more friendly demeanor, otherwise everything about the property was amazing. ”

The breakfast was the most extensive buffet we have ever seen; we were shocked that there had been negative reviews. The location is great. The apartment and the bathroom was spacious and fully equipped. The sofa bed in the living room converted to a pull out bed (unfortunately it is the most uncomfortable bed for 2).
The location of the hotel is excellent, with 2 minutes walk to the famous Arbat Street.
There are plenty of supermarkets around, with a huge Magnum store just across the road in Lumier building. ”

”Good business hotel, clean and with friendly staff. Good location. Bed ok, pillow a bit uncomfortable (not very soft). Bathroom & shower good. Rooms too hot inside as usual in KZ but window can be opened. Breakfast is large in quantity, but quality could be better (especially breads, cheeses). Still, overall price/quality ratio on a good level. I have kept going back and still intent to do so in the future as well. ”

”The Plaza Hotel is a decent place to stay in Almaty. The rooms are clean, well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast is good but not amazing but as it’s a buffet I’m sure there’s plenty there to satisfy everyone. It’s not the most central hotel but the area around is safe and the river makes orientating yourself in the city quite easy. Get Yandex Go the ex-Soviet equivalent of Uber and getting around costs next to nothing and is very quick and efficient. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!...
