”I had issues (twice...) with the codes not working when trying to enter my room which made me feel unsafe especially when this happened midnight. Reception is not open after 10pm so I received help via Whatsapp and staff was helpful. Other things that lower my rating were the metal beds that made a lot of noise. Also the whole floor only had 2 showers working. I have never had to wait to shower in hostel before. I wish toilets had more hooks to put towels/clothes in and rooms had mirrors....

”We had a deluxe king room. The room was small and basic, but sparkly clean and had a very comfortable bed. We really liked the location. It was very central to everything we wanted to do.”

”It has good location on quiet street. Free parking. Excellent service on front desk. The hotel was dated, but pretty clean. Earplugs are must. Breakfast is free, it includes coffee, bread, eggs and cereals. The hotel bit pricey for value, but i think in SF it might be difficult to find good hotels for decent price. Overall this is OK place for few days stay ”

”Very convenient location in Japantown close to lots of good restaurants and interesting shops. Hotel is very clean. Bathroom is a bit awkward if sharing with someone you aren’t close to (toilet has a door but the sink and shower area are only separated from the room with a small half curtain. Makes it hard to keep a light on as well without disturbing the other person if going to the toilet at night.”
