Welcome to Camp Windy Dock on beautiful Grand Lake in Presque Isle, Michigan! With the original construction of the cabin so close to the Grand Lake shoreline built in the 1920s and with an open view down the center of the lake, there is always a nice windy breeze coming towards the dock (or the hammock)! This 5-bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom, log cabin and adjacent bunkhouse is perfect for families who are looking to relax and get away in 2800+ sq ft of lodge style living space. Whether you choose excursions around Grand Lake, Lake Huron, or venture further around the Sunrise Coast, we promise you will enjoy the views as you get to know an area of Michigan that few have experienced!

Good to know amenities:
Indoor: Spectrum High Speed Wi-fi (up to 300 MBPS) for remote work and live streaming, multiple living room areas (see photos), TV with Roku stick, SEGA Genesis, pack 'n play, highchair, yoga mat, kids toys, books, board games, and puzzles

Kitchen: French press, pour over carafe, and Keurig coffee makers (we love coffee), oven, toaster, ice maker, crock pot, microwave, dishwasher

Outdoor: Two sit in adult kayaks and two kids kayaks, row boat with oars, fire pit, deck furniture, beach chairs, beach towels, backyard, hammock, outdoor griddle (propane), barbeque grill (charcoal), dock for boat/ jet ski tie up (public boat launch is 5 min drive away), pontoon boat rentals are available on Grand Lake

Great Cabin
Fantastic host who was very responsive and accommodating. Plenty of room for all our family and the optional bunkhouse was a great addition to the property for our large group. The enclosed porch was the perfect place to relax or eat a meal with the beautiful lake view. We had everything we needed including plenty of towels. Memorable trip for my family. Thanks!

Perfect Up north Get Away
This cottage is the perfect place for an upper Michigan vacation. The cottage is large with a spacious kitchen for preparing meals. It was clean and very comforting. Has a nice deck and fire pit to enjoy the lake view sunset. We enjoyed using the kayaks and the Blackstone griddle that were provided. The Host’s Nick & Berta were very accommodating and responded to messages quickly. I highly recommend this property and plan on staying here again.

We had an amazing weekend at Grand Lake! The property was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials. True “Up North” feel with tasteful decor and stunning views of the lake. Excellent location the tranquility, but close to restaurants and attractions. Easy check-in/out and host was very responsive. We hope to be back soon!
