Amazing place for our family reunion! The WiFi worked great for those that had to work a little, A/C was good to beat the unusual 90 temps outside, and the pool helped us cool off as well. Loved the big back porch, yard games and river for fishing. So many amenities and details provided to make it feel like home. We want to go again!

We had so much fun and it was a beautiful house in a beautiful setting big enough for the whole family too enjoy each other‘s company or be away from each other when we wanted. It was close enough to Preston and Logan so that we could go out and do activities other places, but the pool was so fun that we just stayed there most of the time. Everyone voted to go there again.

Red Cub Lodge in Preston Idaho is well worth booking! One of the most awesome locations our family has ever visited. The property was well maintained and the owner a delight to work with. Lots to do and a favorite for our group of 30! The river was a favorite spot to rock hunt, wade, and read. The pool is big enough for a lot of people and deep enough to dive into. The meticulously kept and spacious green lawns were great for cornhole, badminton, and horseshoes. And the mammoth weeping willows were the crowning glory of the property! Don't miss out on this gem!

We used this for a family reunion of 40 people and had a great time. Great private location a 45 min drive from Logan, 15 min from Preston. We used the firepit, hot tubs, pool, outdoor games, etc., there was something for everyone. Good hiking nearby to beautiful waterfalls. Kitchen was perfect and well stocked. Fridge and freezer large enough for a week of food. We used both glamping tents and they were fun. Living room area was large enough for our group to watch World Cup together. The deck is huge and great in good weather. Hosts were very responsive and are great to work with. If you're looking for a night out, Big J burgers in Preston or Smithfield was a favorite flr burgers and thick shakes.

Our grandkids loved this VRBO, and they are already begging for a repeat! We celebrated our 50th anniversary all together and loved the privacy, the pristine surroundings, the nearby walks, the sound of the river, the volleyball setup, the quiet, the time to connect! The pool, hot tubs, and swings were always busy!Everyone liked their bedroom, and those in the glamping tents loved those, as well. The fridge is awesome--plus having two stoves and two dishwashers was helpful for our group of 32 people. The icemaker was a hit with the whole group!Laurin welcomed us when we arrived, kept in touch daily to see if we had questions, was wonderful to the little kids, and worked so hard to keep everything looking shipshape in the yard.

Check in went very well. Owner was there to greet us and give us advice on the grounds and use of the pool and hot tubs.Kitchen was well equipped and family was able to cook and serve meals mostly on the deck.Faculties were great with so much we could do right on site.

Great Reunion

We had a great stay. Lots of room for everyone, and things to do on the property and the surrounding area. It is a beautiful oasis and everyone had a great time. Thank you Lauren and Scott for being great hosts.

Loren Rackham was very accommodating and kind. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds and facilities. It was a great place for our large family retreat.

Second Trip

While we have stayed at many places over the years. This is the only one we stayed at twice, based upon a group vote. It is a place where you can just enjoy the property.

Family Vacation

Red Cub Lodge is magical! Our first big family vacation with 24 people and it was amazing! Loved sleeping in the tents with the sounds of the water rushing by! Wonderful experience and wonderful host!

We loved our stay! There were 33 of us, from 75 to 7, and we had a wonderful time. We loved the new deck and ate on it every meal. We had family gatherings on it in the evenings and even a dance party one night. We would recommend this house to all our friends. Check in and out was super easy and when we had a question about anything, it was answered quickly.

Perfect property for family reunion of all ages

Our whole group loved this property and we had a great time for our family reunion. Before our stay, the host was helpful to quickly answer any questions we had as we prepared to come. While we were there, we had some unforeseen issues that were out of the control of the host but he was quick to help resolve them for us. He was excellent and we would love to come stay again in the future.

Wedding weekend at the lodge

We had about 30 people staying at the lodge for 4 nights and we had our wedding ceremony and reception there. We couldn’t have asked for a better location! Everyone raved about the scenery and the amenities the whole time. No complaints!!

Beautiful Location, Never wanted to Leave

The property was beautiful, and had enough activities to occupy adults and children for 4 full days. The lodge is not huge inside, but the distribution of bathrooms worked great! The living area was comfortable for meals and hanging out. Perfect for a family reunion. Looking forward to going back again.

Idyllic Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion held at Red Cub Lodge. The venue was as described, with plenty of room for our large group, both inside and out. We particularly enjoyed the spring-fed swimming pool and dual hot tubs. The property manager was communicative and helpful. We will definitely consider staying at this lovely place again in the future.

All-inclusive Property

This was a great location and lodge with beautiful grounds, completely stocked house and lots of activities for all 33 of us....pool, hot tubs, glamping tents, volleyball, horseshoe, corn hole game, and more. Scott and Lauren were great hosts, helpful and accommodating. Recommend this property to any and all.

We just had a great family reunion at Red Cub. The accommodations were great but the owners willingness to ensure all our needs were met were impressive. We even got a little tour of the area. What an awesome experience. Truly fun for the whole family. Thank you

Precious Family Time

Our family of 30+ stayed at the property over Labor Day weekend, and our experience was memorable in every good way. The lodge and property more than met our expectations with lots of space to gather inside together, well-stocked kitchen and an abundance of bathrooms, individual space for everyone, beautiful outdoor space for activities of every sort. It was precious family time we'll remember for a long time to come. We hope to make more memories there in the future, too.

A perfect place for our family reunion

We had 38:at our reunion. There were lots of things that our family lived ved about this location. They have lots of rooms and lots of beds. The secluded location with tons of shade trees really added to the experience. Our family really liked th pool and hot tubs. The glamping tents were a hit too
