We want to ensure guests are aware that during the winter months in Hawaii, gnats are naturally more prevalent due to the tropical climate. These tiny insects are attracted to light and are especially common in lush, green areas like ours. While we take every measure to maintain the property, their presence is a natural part of the environment and beyond our control.

To minimize their impact during your stay:

Keep doors and windows closed as much as possible.
Ensure screens are securely in place. Please note, however, that some gnats are so small they may get through even the finest mesh screens.

Great stay at Hanalei Bay Resort

The resort is awesome. Great, great views and tons of amenities and activities for the kids. We should have stayed longer! The beach access from the resort is a really great perk. Great sunset views
