Ylellinen Lakefront-koti Houghton-järvellä

Tässä kodissa on kaikki, yksityinen Lakefront koti aivan kaupungin laidalla.
Lähtötasolla on avoin pohjaratkaisu, joka virtaa keittiöstä ruokasaliin ja olohuoneeseen. Mistä mistä tahansa voit nauttia kauniista kaasulokista, kivitakasta ja oven seinänäkymästä East Baylle. Keittiössä on kaikki nykyajan mukavuudet, kuten astianpesukone ja sisäänrakennettu mikroaaltouuni.
Yläkerrassa on 4 tyylikkäästi sisustettua makuuhuonetta, joihin mahtuu mukavasti 10 vierasta. Makuuhuoneessa on oma parveke romanttisille auringonlaskuille. Yläkerrassa on myös toinen hiljattain uusittu täysi kylpyamme, jossa on puutarha-poreallas.
Mukavuudet eivät pysähdy kodin sisäpuolella, ulkopuolelta löytyy kiinnitetty kahden auton autotalli, sivupiha lisäpysäköintiä varten, tilava järvenrantapiha, telakka ja runsaasti matalaa vettä lasten leikkiä varten.
Tämä on todella ympäri vuoden varustettu koti: uinti, kalastus, veneily, moottorikelkkailu, pilkkiminen ja lähistöllä runsaasti valtion maata metsästykseen ja retkeilyyn

The host was kind and helpful. The house met our needs. Overall, we enjoyed our time at the lakehouse. The only negative is that I personally didn't think that it was worth the money. It's a nicely refurbished older home in a town that is not great. Also the listing states that there is a hot tub, not true, there is a bathtub with jets.

Check in was easy based on thorough instructions we received in advance. The house had everything we needed and then some - oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, refrigerator with a spare fridge in the garage, dish ware and silverware. WiFi was high speed for work check ins and streaming services. Directions for driving to the home were clear and detailed. We enjoyed the lake for boating, fishing, kayaking, lily padding and wading and swimming! The house had great beds and good space for cooking, relaxing and being together. Very comfortable and well furnished with spectacular sunsets!

Nice Home for a Family Get Away

Nicely updated cottage on the South East side of Houghton Lake. Convenient to shopping on M 55 and there is a nice fruit and vegetable market just across the street. Well stocked kitchen. Nice living room with gas fireplace. Lake is right off the deck so nice to sit on swing and listen to the waves hit the sea wall. We had a few problems but property manager was responsive in getting back with us. Bedrooms were good size. Bathrooms were nice.

Our family of three and another friends family of four stayed together. This house was situated right on the lake with a lower and upper deck. They had kayaks, a stand up paddle board, a Lilly pad mat for floating, and kids beach toys. There was a fire pit and grill. A walking distance restaurant/bar for those that want to get out of the house. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. The AC worked well. Would go back.

Ice fishing trip

Everything was great, except the fact that the driveway was covered with 2-3 feet of snow for us to shovel upon arrival. The snow had been there for a very long time as it was hard like ice in most spots. It took my son and I close to 46 minutes to get 3/4 of it knocked down and our other guests arrived to help. I threw my back out and was down for the count once I got home, couldn’t move for 2 days out of my bed. The road to the house was plowed, it sure would’ve been a common courtesy to have that plowed for us. I sent the owner a message about it after we left and she never even responded back to me.

Beautiful View

The view was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. We found a broken kayak paddle when we went to use them. Brandi said she would order a new one. However, the main reason we chose this house was the use of kayaks, so we were disappointed to only have one working paddle with the two kayaks. Some of the beds were uncomfortable. The house was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The outside area was nice for hanging out and relaxing. Brandi responded quickly to questions.

Family Funeral

I couldn't have asked for a better hostess. Being the purpose was a funeral, time was short to make plans and arrangements. Brandi accommodated three families who do not get the opportunity to be together very often. She allowed us to have a dog on site and an extra person. She also allowed an early arrival time due to flights and distances traveled. We had everything we needed to get through the three days. Thank you.

Perfect spot to relax and enjoy family and friends. Cute friendly restaurant within a walking distance. Lovely farmers market around the corner. Beautiful lakefront views. The house is comfortable and cozy. The owner was responsive and super friendly! If i am ever in that area of the country I will definitely try to stay here again!

Clean & comfortable house. Well equipped. Great view and location. We were unfortunate with cool and rainy weather during our stay so we didn’t get to take advantage of the outdoors much, but with better weather there’d have been a lot to do.
