”I was delighted that the property is uniquely Bostonian, tastefully decorated. The room is very clean, comfortable bed. It was very safe and pleasant to walk to parks, museums, market. Breakfast was excellent. Overall the house is very efficiently run.
However, the bath towels could be better, they are old, stiff and yellow-colored. Considering the low cost of new a towel, I would throw them all away, replace with good quality WHITE towels. ”

”Honestly no matter what I say is not enough to show my appreciation , this hotel is worth every penny I spent. .Amazing service ,clean ,helpful sweet staff ,accommodating and helpful .Thank you all for making my visit one of a kind .”

”it was a very nice location. i went to a concert at fenway and it was so close and easy to get to. I travel alone and the staff made me feel safe and welcome. ”
”We enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. I had been warned about the cost of breakfast so I was prepared for that. We found several little places within walking distance to eat and when we did dine at the hotel, it was very good.”

”Best hotel in Boston without question! The staff are exceptional, very friendly and attentive. The masseuses at the spa, especially (I believe her name was) Paula are very skilled and helpful with sore muscles and joints after traveling. La Padrona, Amar, and The Long Bar all have delicious food. I will definitely be back! ”

”Our stay at Charlesgate Suites was lovely. The whole building was extremely clean and our room had all the basic necessities. The little espresso machine and pods were a nice surprise.
It's about a 4 min walk to the green line station entrance, maybe 10 min to Fenway and 15 min to Newbury St.
The street itself is beautiful, very "Boston" with all the multistory brownstones.
I do wish there was a closer convenience store where you could get bottled waters and things. This is no fault of...

”Our plans had been to go to Fenway Park for baseball game. Walkable from here. Also walked to Beacon Hill and ate at Cheers bar. Mall and shopping close by. 7-11 across street.Great location in an old Victorian house”
”The room was clean and spacious, but got quite damp after showering, meaning that I had to leave the bathroom light and fan on for the whole day in order for the room to not feel damp when I got back in the evening. Service was great and the patio and common room downstairs where comfortable and a nice addition overall.”
